Selsey 0 - 2 Roffey
After an encouraging start to our league campaign away at Seaford we faced Roffey on Tuesday night for our first home game of the season.
Having battled so hard and being disciplined on Saturday, we showed on Tuesday night that in this league you cannot be having an off day/evening at any time.
In what turned out to be a very disappointing showing at home against a hard working team in Roffey, all the things we did well on Saturday seem to have deserted us in the opening minutes and thus conceding an early goal and never really recovering.
We ended up going in 2-0 down at half time. The lads to their credit came out better in the 2nd half but to no avail and the game ended in a home defeat.
We now have to pick ourselves up and get ready for Saturday away at Mile Oak who themselves will provide us with another very tough game.
