Men's first team manager Daren Pearce gives his thoughts following Saturday's disappointing result away at Copthorne.

After picking up vital points at home against Arundel last Tuesday night, we went away to Copthorne on Saturday and took a 1-0 lead into half time when we could of been even further ahead with the chances we created.

This was to prove costly and the second half was very similar, chances to kill the game off but not taking them and then conceding 2 goals, one being very late in the game, this gave us no chance to get something out the game and therefore drop 3 points.

Games recently like the Wick, Banstead and Arundel games we have created numerous good chances and not taken them and therefore, dropped points in each of the games with the exception of Arundel..!!!

We need to be more ruthless in front of goal and calmly take our chances when they come as we are playing well but goals win games, not performances.

We now need to focus on Tuesday nights game at Forest Row ko 7.45pm
